By participating in Countdown Treasure, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not participate in the treasure hunt.

2. Contest Description

Countdown Treasure is a real-world treasure hunt contest where participants search for a physical treasure chest containing gold coins worth $25,000+ in value.

• The contest is a game of skill, not chance
• No purchase is necessary to enter or win
• The treasure is located on publicly accessible land
• The hunt may last up to 21 days from the start date

3. Eligibility

To participate, you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older, or have parental consent if under 18
• Be a legal resident of the United States
• Have a valid email address
• Agree to these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

4. Rules and Conduct

Participants must:

• Respect all private property and local laws
• Not trespass on private land
• Not damage property or the environment
• Not use any prohibited tools or methods
• Document the treasure in its location with close-up photos, then take it to safety before taking a selfie with it for verification
• Conduct themselves safely and responsibly

5. Premium Membership

Premium membership is optional and provides additional features including photos and community access. Premium membership fees are non-refundable.

6. Winning and Prizes

The first person to legally find and claim the treasure chest wins the entire prize. Winners must provide photos documenting the treasure in its original location, a selfie with the treasure, the verification code found inside, valid identification, and contact information.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Countdown Treasure is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the safety of participation or the accuracy of all information provided.

8. Limitation of Liability

Participants assume all risks associated with treasure hunting. Countdown Treasure and its organizers are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during participation.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any changes.
